There is so much going on in the music world: new releases, new artists.. Sometimes (I would even say quite often) I miss absolutely amazing artists and then think to myself "how the hell did it actually happen?".
1987 is one of those artists I've been missing out on. But better late than never, right? London via Stockholm producer Victor Holmberg released his debut single "Ocean" a year ago and followed up with "Michelle".
The track keeps getting more and more intense, especially with the repetitive "Michelle", until a fierce instrumental finale. Top notch production and the general melancholic vibe of the song are definitely the highlights of the track for me.
Also, I haven't actually realized how refreshing it is to listen to something performed not in English. Hopefully there is more to come.
