Simplicity is the new black and the best proof you'll be able to find is this feature. Today's spotlight shines on Brisbane-based singer and producer Jesse Belor AKA Aleksander - the guy behind this beautiful and mellow sounds pouring out of your speakers. The Australian "swiss-army knife" as he describes himself will absolutely enchant you and after more than 10 listens I'm still torn apart when it comes to choosing a favourite element of "Phoenix" - the softness of his vocals or the absolutely brilliant instrumental/beats combination.

I'll use this post and tell you a little and very bizarre/cool story which happened to me the other day. I work for a start-up and naturally there is a fair amount of new people popping up every once in a while. At the last company event I was talking to one of the new colleagues from Portugal when suddenly she said she knew about Stereofox before even knowing that she would re-llocate in Berlin. Needless to say this kind of thing made me utterly happy and I had this "woah, wtf" moment! Anyway, I will cut the story short but... it's such a small world and things like that are the real fuel for all of us in the team and the driving force behind pushing the project. So, Sofia, Isabel, Rui and other cool and lovely people out there - cheers and thanks for supporting us!
