Sigur Rós fans will fall in love with Icelandic artist Ásgeir Trausti. The fourth single taken from his 2012 debut, Nýfallið Regn mixes the enchanting Icelandic language with a falsetto reminiscent of Bon Iver genius Justin Vernon.

Since September of 2012, Dýrð í dauðaþögn is biggest and fastest selling album by a domestic artist, outselling fellow Icelander’s Björk and Sigur Rós, to make the 21 year old melodic folk artist an overnight sensation. The radiant cross between Sigur Rós and Bon Iver breaks the barely discernible language barrier with sublime production and a calming atmosphere. An undeniable brilliant combination of electronic and acoustic elements are matched by poetry, interestingly written in large part by Ásgeir’s 72 year old father. An English version of the Dýrð í dauðaþögn will be available January 27th, 2014.

Listen to the hopeful folktronica of Iceland's newest pride and joy.
