We've seen quite a few collaborations of Australia's finest, but not the collaboration of two extremely talented electronic acts. Brutalist is made of LUCIANBLOMKAMP and Seekae's John Hassell. As expected the result is delicious.
"Strep" is the first single off the pair's mixtape and instead of trying to explain what this track si about, check out what the pair has to say about it:
"Strep is the driving force of the Brutalist Mixtape. It was the first song we made together and it essentially paved the way for the rest of the release. The track was originally melodically driven and based around ‘retro-style’ synth chords. It was only after a few exchanges of the track’s project thatStrep eventually grew into the linear, percussively driven track it is today. I feel as though Strep is a perfect representation of both our sounds combined."
