Boundary-pushing producer Bunki released one of my favourite electronic EP's earlier this year with his self-titled project. The 5-track EP was jammed packed with genuine experimentalism and creativity.
Last month the producer returned with double single ‘The Day We Almost’ / ‘I Never, both tracks will take you on a contemporary and nostalgic journey of captivating atmospheric soundscapes, rammed with layer upon layer of rich textures and percussive beats.
Having been listening to both songs for a couple of weeks now, I Never definitely stood out as the more robust experimental track with its distinct distortions built on soaring bass lines that will entice you to keep listening again and again.
