Parlez-vous francais? I certainly don't although I studied it for 5 years in high school and have forgotten almost everything I have learnt. Luckily for other lost "French" souls like me we have the isle Coeur de Pirate (pirate heart).
In "comme des enfants" the background consists of piano and other classical instruments that are both soothing and calling for the listener's attention. The voice of Beatrice Martin is so strawberry sweet, cute and sensual it almost makes me want to grab a French dictionary and start revising all over again. I am even more pleasantly surprised that before she started as a solo songwriter/singer she was in a post-hardcore band (December strikes first). This song is part of her debut self-titled album Coeur de Pirate.
