Earlier this year, Favela issued his Easy Yoke EP back in January. A year has almost passed now, and it has been filled with remixes for Emily and the Woods or Fyfe. To complete the year brillantly, Favela drops "Gong", his latest song.
"Gong" echoes the electronic drums that frame the track, whereas the piece is lightened by harp and Favela's calm and soothing voice.
This production completes the melancholic and dreamlike universe of Favela. It evokes hazy pastoral sceneries at dawn, big spaces and timeless encounters.
The Leeds-based producer has been quite reserved in 2014, let's hope he'll be more in the limelight in 2015.
