Friend

I started making a new trip-hop playlist and came across Salt Lake City-based producer Kozoro’s uplifting and exquisite track “Friend”. The track begins with slow, but bright piano cords that flow effortlessly into an attention-grabbing beat, creating a breath-takingly beautiful eargasm. "Friend" draws to a close with the beat fading away into a lo-fi ambiance, leaving the piano alone to play out until the end.

Finding Kozoro and this track made my night. Sitting here letting the sound sink into my soul is doing a number on my emotions right now. I feel like this track could be a soundtrack for all those dreamy Sundays where time seems to move in different ways. I feel on the verge of tears from this beauty.

Words really do not do this track justice. I'm so ashamed that I slept on Kozoro for so long. Do not be like me. Do not sleep on Kozoro or this heart-wrenchingly gorgeous track.
