I was stalking the Facebook page of Woody Pitney who I featured the other day and saw a little post saying that his friend is doing Crowd-funding for his new album and got really curious. Some say curiosity is a vice, but this time it did nothing but good.
Amazingly talented Matt Walters deserves this campaign and deserves this album. No, we deserve his new album.
Gorgeous vocals, a bit different pop-ish intake on the folk music, soft piano, strong development of the sound somewhere in the middle of the track. Can it get any better? The tune is very light and beautiful lyrics-wise. I literally re-played it at least 20 times now.
You can check out the whole campaign here and listen to the teaser samples on his Soundcloud. His story is somewhat inspiring, especially for the young artists. Even if Crowd-funding is not going to work out (which I hope is not going to be the case), let's spread the word and help Matt out!
