Substitution

First post on the road! Writing those lines from the small airport of Eindhoven about to head the one of the most amazing cities in Europe - Barcelona! So, yeah - I've got half an hour to kill so decided to write a few lines about a band I have extremely high admiration for – Silversun pickups. They play indie/alternative mellow music, and their albums are totally worth checking out!

The first song I encountered was "Lazy eye" and  I seriously thought the lead singer was a woman. I had seen some photos of them and I knew there was a female member, however that turned out to be their bass player Nikki Monninger, who recently had a baby, for all of you gossip loving peopleS out there. "Substitution" is a great track of their Swoon album which I recommend to start with. The track also has very funny video, the male population might enjoy! Well, let's keep it short, folks. I'm about to pass the security check so fingers crossed!
