Well if last month's All Acoustic volume was wrapped in nostalgia, Vol.3 has it's feet firmly planted in the here and now - featuring a lovingly crafted combination of artists that over the last 5 years or so have kept me coming back time after time. Nathaniel Rateliff's ilk deserve to sit firmly at the top of anyone's record collection, I have lost count of the number of times I have seen Bears Den live and they remain the only artist that I have ever given away showcase tickets for, purely to funnel friends down the righteous acoustic path.
Patrick Watson has been on constant repeat with countless tracks whereas Rhodes & Luke Sital-Singh remain my ever-dependable's, no matter what the release or mood I'm in when it lands.
Little May and Lapsley are the relative new kids on my iTunes block but I know they're kicking around enough stellar work to deserve their place in the best of acoustic music out there at the minute (or at least in my opinion anyway).
Finally Fossil Collective who always make me smile because my better half hates them - so naturally they get a lot of air-time in my house just for the fun of it. Their debut album Tell Where I Lie was literally the soundtrack of my summer in 2013 (& her's).
If you aren't familiar with any of the artists featured, please at least explore their back catologue in more detail and pick up a few gems.
Also don't forget to come back next month where I'll be doing the usual end of year trick and featuring some of the hottest acoustic talent that should be on your radar in 2016.
