"If you are not offending anyone you are doing it wrong", is this the right quote? In the case of Rise of the Northstar I am sure there are plenty of people who are frowning with dismay at their songs and video clips. Personally I fully embrace their style with arms wide open.
Beatdown hardcore, rap elements, a mad guitar solo in the middle of the song, all this is embedded in the fabric of manga/anime references, strong affection for the Japanese culture, baseball and who knows what else I am missing. It would be great if someone who is more familiar with Rise of the Northstar biography to drop a line or two under this post!
