Don't get fooled by the name (as I did), this is not another tough-guy hardcore band, nor it is an anarcho-punk band!
War Generation is the latest addition to the Rise Records roster, why am I not surprised. Actually the surprise comes with the fact the the band is led by Jonathan Bunch of the legendary Sense Field and also features Brad Lehman of Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Craig Anderson of Ignite. That maked this a supergroup at least from my perspective.
War Generation released their first song last week and a music video is expected to be done as well. The song is called "Done and Gone" and if you have ever listened to Sense Field and Ignite it sounds like the natural outcome...it is great and I've been playing at least once a day since it was posted.
Rise Records will release War Generation's debut full length on September 3rd and I for one am pretty excited about it. Expect more new regarding this band and their new video as well.
