The phrase "pop music" can be one loaded with angst. I mean, turn on the radio to a Pop station, and chances are greater than zero that you'll hear one of ten songs. However, there exists some pop music, unbeknownst to the radio channels, that is actually good. For example, let's look at "We Might As Well Be Dreaming" by Sheare. It's got everything that every pop song nowadays has: a glimmering beat, some simple vocals, and a ridiculously catchy chorus. The only difference? This is actually good.

Sheare's self-described "neon space pop" is going to be making waves in the future, making their album in 2014 something to be looking forward to.
