This new collaboration between 1-800 GIRLS and and Council is absolutely fun, especially thanks to the playful, shimmering melodies that float across the mix.

The UK-based producer initially appeared on our radar back in 2022 with his remix of Art School Girlfriend's "Is It Light Where You Are", and since then he has made a name for himself with his forward-thinking style of UKG and breakbeat. Since he has been playing more shows, his music has evolved to liven up dancefloors too, and "eye contact" showcases this evolution. The whisphery vocals from Council paired with the pads in the backdrop tastefully contrasts the track's fun atmosphere to offer an eerie feel. This, paired with the groovy rhythm section amplifies the track’s dynamic and quirky character too.
