Birdz

I recently crossed paths with the music of 10 Places, Fire and regardless of the fact that they don't exist anymore, I knew they should be mentioned on Stereofox. It is really a shame when a band which has achieved such a nice balance between really cool genres is parting ways. What's left for us, the listeners, is to enjoy what they've created and I have to say - their album Lakes Refract & Lakes Reflect is one amazing, complex and very very enjoyable release!

My favourite track from the album is "Birz" which is a nostalgic mixture between post-rock and alternative with a scent of post-hardcore elements (precisely - the group vocals around 2:00). Oh well, the day has to start, so I'm off. Enjoy the sounds below and your Saturday!
