The latest release of Aforest is one that caught me by complete surprise! Thick atmospheric textures and bright synths are sounds that are synonymous with the group... Although on "Seasons" we're welcomed to a different something different overall.

It's almost as if Aforest have had the discography of Parcels, Rhye or even Men I Trust on rotation by virtue of their evident influence. Regardless of their choice of instrumental aesthetic, the vocals remain exceptionally comforting and the lyrics introduces us to a much more vulnerable side to Aforest.

The lyrics in the song were inspired by the rush of emotion you feel at the start of a relationship and how frustrating it can be if it’s long distance.
