Poetry: How Does It Feel?

I can't believe Akua Naru's "Poetry: How Does It Feel?" is 10 years old and I'm just hearing about her art!

A major thanks to Nora for her 10 Female Rappers You Should Know About article. Such an eye-opener. While I knew most of the artists featured, I fell in love a few more times with the work of some new names in my book, namely Akua Naru.

Akua is an artist, poet and a story-teller. Also, a powerful lyricist. Her flow is slow, seductive, mesmerizing but also very mature, powerful and self-aware. This is poetry, indeed.
