Earlier this morning I saw Interstellar and I've been busting my brain about so much thoughts which got triggered by the movie. I don't think it's the everyone-finds-it-amazing kind of movie, but it seriously got me thinking about the important things in life. While the movie is seriously in the sci-fi zone, at the end of the day it really puts out in the open very trivial stuff and I think it could easily be translated into everyday situations, values and understandings about life. Anyhow.

I've been searching for something to tune-down things and Emily Jones' "Translate" came in the most appropriate time ever. Not sure where this girl came from, but her music is so beautiful its mental. This was supposed to be a simple song feature, but after spending an hour streaming her EP I felt I should just put it out there. It's mellow and somehow sadly beautiful.

Everything from music production to lyrics feels like perfection. I'm torn apart between the title track and "Bittersweet" because both got me really bad. While being just 3 tracks long EP, the whole thing feels perfectly long. It leaves you with a feeling of wanting more of these sounds, but also keeps things... interesting.

I love the short description she put on her SoundCloud. It really made me smile widely. Groove is good.

Generally known as a 'singer-songwriter', but I'll sing on your tracks for you if you're looking for a vocalist, because secretly, I much prefer to groove.
