Alessia, is an 18-year-old singer from Ontario, and her debut single “Here” is a cool pop number with hip hop elements that just oozes class.
The tracks beat is smooth and relaxing wrapped up in an Isaac Hayes sample, but it’s the track’s lyrics which really appeal.
The young singer talks about not wanting to stay at a party preferring to stay in solitude.
“Here” is a song for all the antisocial, awkward, and miserable party-goers of the world. This one time I went to a party and while there, I realized how much I hated it, along with every other party I had ever gone to. We wrote about it the next day.
