"I don't know what I'm feeling right now, but I'm certainly feeling something". That's the line I caught my housemate uttering after I rushed to share with him Amane's latest release "Another Time".
With its slow progression and pleasantly lush soundscape, this kind of track summons emotions that are quite difficult to put into words. Its deep, introspective, and also beautifully produced.
The synths are as bright as a scorching summer day, whilst the melodies possess the somberness of a color-muted winter. It's this contrast that makes "Another Time" an uneasy yet memorable listening experience.
