There was something about "Call Me" that just drew me to it.

Perhaps the bossa-nova-ish melody and groovy percussions, or Anna Shoemaker's silky vocals - but the track carries delightful melancholy that somehow makes you feel warm. She explains how the track came to life:

I wrote "Call Me" about a year ago as a sort of advertisement for someone to call me back. My friend and producer, Chedda had this beautiful piano part he had written and we thought it would be cool to put a very generic sounding drum sample over it to make teeter a little bit onto a corny hotline bling type vibe. For a while, the song was actually called "Hotline Bling Type Beat" until we changed it to "Call Me". It was one of those songs that just kind of wrote itself once Chedda put the beat down AND IT GOT ME A CALLBACK.
