Almost out of nowhere, listeners are tossed into a deep void of atmosphere as soon as the heavily textured pad bursts into the mix. This moment feels so much more dramatic towards the end thanks to the tension created during the build-up, and because of the moody vocal chop uttering "goodbye" in the distance.
