In "Oh Baby", Archie Holmes leans into a sound that strips things back to their organic core while highlighting a richer, more soulful edge.
Watching the evolution of the UK-based producer Archie Holmes has been marvelous. His sound is predominantly influenced by UK Garage, however, on "Oh Baby" we're welcome to a summertime house sound that's tailor-made for the dancefloor. The emotive soul sample paired with the phaser-drenched guitar works is reminiscent of French house, evoking the warmth and groove of the early 2000s while still feeling fresh and contemporary.
