Today we're releasing a new introspective gem on the Stereofox label, courtesy of Dutch producer and composer Ardisia.
“Blazar” is part of Apogee - a cinematic take on electronica and downtempo that feels reflective and forward-thinking in its production. It's the eerie, foreboding pianos, along with the bounce on the drums, that offer movement and momentum throughout the progression. Bright synths swell across the mix towards the middle section, and it's right after this part when "Blazar" shifts into an even more expansive soundscape, especially with the presence of the soulful vocal samples.
"This EP means a lot to me because it had a lot of different versions and different ideas for the direction I wanted to take. After all the struggle, it eventually all came together beautifully, and I am very proud of the sound and the vibe my new EP has", says Ardisia.
