Woke up this morning to this electrifying new jazz house release, “So Close”, remixed by REGOR. The original comes from Barcelona-based pianist Ariadna Tubau - an experimental neo-jazz piece taken from her latest album Better Days, which I also already listened to, and it's fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re into modern jazz piano trio vibes.
Fellow Barcelona-based producer REGOR then flips "So Close" into an elegant jazz house track inspired by artists like Berlioz and Bellaire. Built around warm grooves, jazz textures, organic percussion, and powerful basslines, the rework keeps the unique essence of the original composition while giving it a fresh, emotionally driven dancefloor energy. I was instantly hooked by the piano groove, and I’m pretty sure you will be too.
