Sometimes you find yourself dragged into something by desire, or even fate, but in this case I found myself at one of the best venues in Barcelona by my unconditional love to Syberia. Once they were done playing their mind-blowing set, it was time for me to hear for the very first time The Chameleons Vox.

I have this weird way of thinking that If I haven't heard a band before and they play somewhere I'm going no matter what, I'm willing to get my first impression about them by their live performance, rather than just checking out videos from YouTube or their albums through Spotify. Not knowing how a band sounds makes you wonder, and you start checking out t-shirts from the audience in order to find out at least if their fans have good taste in music and get guided by that, which is quite an entertainment.

That being said, I didn't know what to expect other than a band that used to have quite a success back in the 80's before they disbanded, when they were just The Chameleons. With former bassist, Mark Burgess , and former drummer, John Lever, the Manchester quartet hit the stage followed by cheering and applauses. I can honestly say I'm not sure how I feel after their performance, mostly because I didn't feel like I connected with their music, but there's something I can tell you, I did enjoy the show and Mark's presence on stage.
