"Look up here, I'm in heaven..."

Like many of you, I was heartbroken at the news of David Bowie's loss.

I have spent the weekend listening to Blackstar and marvel at the beauty of this last album. As most of Bowie's work, Blackstar is an accomplished piece of art. It is also a bittersweet album - a last testimony of what Bowie did best: mixing genres and a last goodbye to his fans.

Lazarus is not my favourite of the album, but the most appropriate to share today. It's a powerful track that partly unveils the mystery around the Legend. It's a string between the beginnings as a Saxophonist and his last days in New York. It layers jazz and rock influences and portraits a creative mind struggeling to pass on his message.

For all you brought to music, pop culture, and society... Thank you David Jones.
