I've been quite anxious about this next feature since last Thursday when I had the pleasure of meeting Geordie Little in person. Awesome dude. Wait...

Busking. Musicians, playing on the street for pleasure, money, gaining experience, making other people happy. There is, however, so much more under that top layer we all know. So many interesting personalities and destinies, which most of us you would never find out as they are hidden behind a wall of music which these (usually) friendly and very talented people create. Berlin is a city where art, music, theater collide and despite the blooming start-up culture, there will always be these other forms of creativity, which colour the vibe of the city.

Busking. There's so much more than just a person playing music. After talking for about an hour with Geordie, I found out that he's a Business student just like me, although we both steered away from that field. Hell, he even started a major in Precise Math. How cool is that? I think being able to speak with the artist and... finding out bits of how he started busking gives a totally new angle and helps perceiving the music in a different way.

If you happen to live in Berlin and are passing under the Ebeswalder U-banh station, you may have seen a crowd of people enjoying some lullaby guitar tapping sounds. In most of the cases, that's Geordie. I actually work nearby and have admired his guitar skills more than just a few times until I finally dropped a little card in his guitar case and we started chatting. A little update on that - we will have the pleasure of filming him in our next Stereofox session! Geordie is also good friends with the lovely Alice and one of the best experimental producers around - Kyson, which confirms my theory - Berlin is THE place to meet young, inspired and talented people.

Enjoy the video. "An Underwhelming View" gives me the chills.
