Imagine being launched into a lucid dream that consists of absolutely no gravity… "Future" by Artifact and Glamaticus would be the perfect soundtrack to facilitate your weightlessness. The layered atmospheric pads and the bells which twinkle like little stars in the sky create such of an incredible ambient experience that’d easily calm your mind.
Something I found very ironic about this track was the vinyl crackles in the beginning. The song is titled Future and it’s also rich with synth works, with that being said the use of the vinyl crackles almost comes across as pretentious as it’s just there for show without an actual purpose. Apart from that I believe it’s the deep soundscapes that would pull the listener in. The two producers managed to create this world which induces a state of relaxation and possibly introspection.
Music like this is quite rare to find in South Africa, so a smile was definitely plastered on my face when "Future" came my way. You’re welcome to find this gem on all digital streaming services.
