Currently based out of London, PDRO born and raised in Rio is mostly influenced by hip hop artists such as J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and more recently Loyle Carner. His music venture started in a secondary school in London with freestyling and battling with his friends. "My objective is to continuously attempt to figure out how to pass on an individual story, such that individuals can identify with it. I attempt to compose from a position of basic human feeling" says PDRO. This resonates with his debut feature Lost & Found with Doctor Gosso & the Samplers. The youthful MC with an old soul exploring the use of Portuguese and Spanish’s in his lyrics along with Samba & Bossa Nova samples to shape his sonic texture expects to give you nostalgic vibes with Doctor Gosso & the Samplers's jazzy hip hop sounds for your eardrums.
