Listening to the original track and watching the video I get chills running down my spine. Did you know that the voice did not mach the face? The floating woman is Marianne Schröder - a Norwegian model and the voice is of Karin Dreijer Andersson of The Knife ( Fever Ray - personal project).
Anyway, I find this track to be sound-wise unique especially because of Andersson's voice. I was curious to discover a good remix of "What Else is There". I did not think anyone would dare to cover this song. Well, I was wrong.
Andy Mort, an UK artist and writer has done a marvelous job covering this song. The transition from female vocals to male does not hurt the song. On the contrary, it adds richness to it and his voice coalesces beautifully with the acoustic guitar. I can't believe a cover of such high quality has about 600 views. If you like it share it, for the love of music, for the sake of Andy Mort's talent.
