Ballad is a soulful R&B singer born in Luanda, Angola, who used music as a safe space to migrate into the American culture. His sound reminds me of Maxwell and Prince - something I don't find very often. The track itself feels very personal and close to me, somehow. Enchanting, somehow painful and silky.
