Balmorhea (pronounced Bal-more-ay) was one of the bands which sparkled my love for instrumental music back in late 2000s. The guys hadn't released new music for 5 years, since their previous album Stranger and the news of new Balmorhea made me extremely happy.

My last post about the Texas duo was in 2014 and I guess I kind of forgot about them. Today, I'm happy to re-connect with their music and the new single titled "Clear Language" which will also be the title of their album.

I think the track is one of the most gentle things I've heard in a while. Absolutely subtle, light and just... pure. The piano-driven, 3 minutes long composition will take you to the beautiful, instrumental world of the US band and you won't want to leave. To be fair, it does sound very different than some of their previous stuff, instrumentally is a lot more minimal & introvert. It's like a sound place where you would go and find solitude.

"Clear Language" is definitely +1 reason to be excited for what's ahead for Balmorhea!
