I'm a sucker for female MSs, especially when they are from the UK (think Lex Amor, as the most obvious example). So whenever I hear the British accent, I jump on it.

Bby Shea has so much potential to make it to my top female artists. Growing up with idols like Lauryn Hill, Sadé and Jean Grey, she took to the microphone, emanating their strong female energy. She has gradually developed her own individual blend of rapping and singing and I absolutely love it. Her vocals work so well within the realm of lo-fi R&B, being so silky smooth, while at the same time working so well when she starts rapping in the most immaculate British accent.

"Philophobic" is her first attempt at writing a song, and I would say this was a very successful attempt.
