Benjamin Francis Leftwich is one of those artists who penetrate you with their voice. There is nothing not to like about him and his music: acoustic guitar, soft voice with a slight touch of hoarseness, sincere lyrics. This is very sincere music from a very sincere artist. I think the term sincere is way more suitable, than emotional, for example. It feels like a right description.

"Atlas Hands" is a track off his debut album Last Smoke before the Snowstorm released back in 2011. Another EP has been released in autumn of 2012 and I hope there is something new coming up soon.

It is probably one of his most famous tracks and very descriptive of his music in general. This is exactly the type of folk music I like and appreciate: dreamy, calm, airy. The track is very delicate and warm, perfect summer evening listen. I hope he will not get lost in the crowd of folk artists and if you are into this kind of music, definitely worth a listen.
