Bienk is the moniker of New York-based producer and DJ Mike Bienkowski, whose style is this effortless blend of soul, jazz, disco, and house.
The self-taught pianist and bass player created music that feels like the soundtrack of that perfect summer day, deprived of stress and injected with nothing but colourful emotions. I’m spending a few weeks by the seaside (remote working with my wife), and while we tend to keep busy with work, we always manage to steal a few hours of blissful chill.
That’s the kind of soundtrack we play early in the morning while enjoying the quietness of the beach and a cup of coffee. Pure bliss mixed with a subtle groove!
