Christian Löffler celebrates the 10th anniversary of his body of work, Mare, with the release of a few new tracks that showcase his incredible evolution since the album has come out.

This feels quite like full circle since I discovered Christian Löffler through Mare years ago when I was still at university. It was the sensual ambient soundscape, along with its blend with house music, that initially drew me in. One of the latest releases to commemorate Mare is the progressive and euphoric "Pool". The sound design is honestly next level, as the lead synth evolves in a variety of different ways to add splashes of color across the mix. I can't neglect to mention the quieter moments of the track when the drums fall silent and piano arrangements usher in a sense of intimacy and calm.
