Chrome Daphne’s latest release "Stuck (On You)" straddles the line between the dancefloor and intimacy, managing to feel both sultry and rhythmically engaging.

Chrome Daphne – composed of childhood friends Ben and Chris – bridge smooth r&b tones with the pulse of electronic groove, finding the space between rhythm and reflection. The instrumental on "Stuck (On You)" pulls from disco and funk influences, while the incredibly slick vocals remind me of the early work of Robin Thicke. This velvet-like vocal performance accentuates the romantic charm of the songwriting as the glossy synths elevate the track to a dreamy space simultaneously. I can't neglect to mention the catchy lead floating alongside the vocals to ensure the joy of this experience lingers in your head for hours on end.

“There’s this interesting duality of love, obsession, and self-entrampment,” Ben continues. “There’s sweetness in the devotion, but also pain in the inability to move on. Parts of this song feel like a diary entry – I like the honesty and the vulnerability. It feels like I’m in the room with my therapist.” - Chrome Daphne
