corto.alto is finally breaking his 2026, and the wait was absolutely worth it.
After a tour-heavy 2025 and a well-deserved Breakthrough Artist AIM award in London, Liam returns under the spotlight with "WHODIS", a collaboration with Chicago-based rapper Mick Jenkins. The new song reveals yet another facet of the corto.alto project, with Shortall leaning into J Dilla-inspired territory, laying down a gritty, hard-swinging hip-hop groove that gives Jenkins plenty of space to glide. "That’s why I reached out to someone like Mick Jenkins, who I’ve listened to forever.. I’m entering a different world with this music," he elaborates.
After everything that I’ve said, it’s important to note that corto.alto is just getting started. He will continue to tour throughout 2026, with a current US tour underway and a headline run across the EU, US and Canada later this year!
