Paris-based producer and visual artist Crayon is preparing to unveil his long-awaited debut album, featuring collaborations with FKJ, Rhye, anaiis, and more. On "Kill Your Idols", we're initially acquainted with pitch-shifted vocals that give an otherworldly feel. This is eventually contrasted with soft keys, brass embellishment, and a bass line that acts like the center of gravity holding the whole arrangement together. When the strings enter the mix, the track is brought to life, especially when paired with Lossapardo's emotive vocal performance.
