I hear influences that range from lofi house to UKG, and even techno intertwined here. This makes for an experience that's blossoming with constant surprises, leaving the listener echanted from start to finish. Initially it was the drums that grabbed my attention since they're lively, although it's cruel rain's sound design that really steels the show particularly toward the end when we're tossed into a pool of luminious soundscapes that complement the track's moody demeanor.
