A quick Google search on Daniel Wilson will garner very few results (at least the one we're talking about today) and yet something tells me he's going to be getting some serious blog time in the coming months. With his début EP Young Rubbish scheduled for release in February, Daniel seems to encapsulate what is being hyped as the 'sound of 2014'.
Latest track 'Will You' is a stripped back and vibrant track showcasing some gorgeous piano and heartbreaking lyrics. Daniel launches into the outro/ chorus hook and suddenly all I can think of are artists like Deptford Goth and SOHN with a smooth and soulful, almost r&b vibe. Daniel Wilson is certainly one to keep your eye on next year.
