SubPop is definitely a label one should keep an eye on. Following them on Soundcloud definitely has its perks! One of the artist in their ...portfolio (?!) - the American indie folk act Death Vessel are releasing a new album Island Intervals in February 2014 and the guys shared a track off that record. A track featuring someone special - Jonsi from the Icelandic post-rock legends Sigur Ros!
But let's not lose focus and stay on track with "Ilsa Drown". The song has one of the most beautiful acoustic guitar chords I've heard in a while. I mean, needless to say - Jonsi's contribution is outstanding, but the layout and sound structure of the track - I think that's what won my affection. Dath Vessel's album would be quite something to be excited about!
