They say that the sounds of Hip Hop tend to be regional, and with that being said I was quite astonished to find out that the duo behind "Chasing Dreams" is actually from Atlanta Georgia.
J Nolan hops on DopeNorTeria's soulful instrumental and the fact that it is made up of a minimalist stature allows us to firmly cling on to Nolan's every line. His verses are not only honesty but they're also imbued with witty penmanship such as lines like "I used to read the dictionary, and now I read the room" (trust me it, it sounds a lot cooler in the song). If you're one of the few out there who are still into lyrical rap emblazoned with a touch of consciousness, then you'll surely be satisfied by "Chasing Dreams".
