Whatever dotAM's music, it is definitely something I haven't really featured before. The Japanese artist blends lofi hip hop, trap beats and pop elements into something she refers to as JHop. A genre shaped by the urban sounds of Tokyo.
It really reminds me as if Mura Masa and M.I.A. had a baby, which was raised in the Japanese capital.
Personally, I love exploring those kind of new sounds and "Alone" is simply put addictive.
