Dusky has gone in a quite different direction for their 5th studio album Signals, and it's hands down one of my favorite albums of the year so far!
Signals doesn't feel like a conventional electronic album. I hear shades of time and distance flickering across this release - influences from the past make their presence felt alongside sounds from far-away lands. What grabbed my attention about the opener, "Bindweed" is how everything progresses. As the seconds pass, the track becomes expansive, swelling with lush synths and introspective vocals that'll allow you to slow down.
