With their latest release, "Kadhalan", Dusky, Nadeem Karim, and Pritt have created a listening experience that reminds us a lot of The Chemical Brothers.
Recently, UK-based duo Dusky unveiled the news that they’ll be dropping their 5th studio album Signals in September. The pair veer into breakbeat territory on "Kadhalan" albeit entwined with a rich, spacey appeal. Furthermore, the vocals have an uplifting Eastern influence that sounds Hindi, and this is coupled with luminous sitar plucks that brighten the mix. The warm pads floating in the backdrop serve as a fascinating contrast to the raw, punchy rhythm section that’s bound to get the dancefloor moving.
