Echo Juliet's latest release, "Feeling Lost," is the kind of music that hangs over the background as butterflies gracefully float in the wind.
UK-based producer Echo Juliet is a classically trained musician who fell for the allure of electronic music, particularly making a futuristic brand of deep house combined with breakbeat influences. Thanks to her distinctive sound design, "Feeling Lost" is honestly one of the most beautiful tracks I've heard this week. The soundscape is soft, gentle, and rich with detail, especially since every shimmering texture contributes to its immersive sense of wonder. Towards the second half, she contrasts this dreamy vibe with an acid-inspired bass line that pierces through the mix with its exaggerated resonance, which somehow adds to the smooth rhythm section.
“I wrote these tracks during some tough times,” says Echo Juliet when asked about inspiration for the new release. “Making music became an antidote for what my family and I were going through, combined with walking in green spaces.”
