This next feature is pure honey.

Eeva and her new track "Comfort Zone" will blow you away. Silky vocals, aerial feels and mellow love feels. The track made me really sad and opened some spaces in my heart and brain I didn't really want to open. That being said, that's the main reason I fell in love with it. The whole experience feels so personal and Eeva is absolutely killing it at creating this emotional sound space.

fallin in love with you
was like jumpin' into an empty pool
had me breaking all my rules
rippin' my life in two
for you,for you, for you
a bit too bored a bit too lonely
don't nobody know me the way u know me
break the glass in case of emergency kinda love
got me reachin' for you are you down enough

"Comfort Zone" is taken off her new EP Hard-boiled Wonderland, inspired by her favorite Murakami novel. The release is a collection of alternative r&b songs about self exploration, love and evolving, influenced by 90's artists like Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott. What really impressed me was the fact that Eeva picked out all the beats and samples, edited them, mixed and recorded the entire EP all by herself.

Eeva has quite the interesting bio. Her first major public performance was on the stage of a talent show in Serbia where she performed Erykah Badu's classic "On and On". Post that performance she actually received a compliment from Badu herself which led her to a record deal for her debut album Part of the Plan.
